Ian Curtis

Joy Division, People, music hot spot — Joe on July 6, 2008 at 6:51 pm

Ian Curtis (1956-1980) was the lead singer of the late 70s  post-punk band Joy Division. He was a fantastic singer, a very talented person.  Yet he died in May of 1980, he committed suicide and he was 23 years old. He was also married young, and he and his wife had a baby.

We use D.I.S. or Destruction of Irritating Silliness as our motto. On our great seal the Latin phrase, “Oohs Disuse” appears in golden letters.

We soon will launch an attack on many posts.

Joesph Heroux Joseph Alexander Heroux - Bugpeople

Heroux was the youngest resident of AS220, spending the first eight months of his existence in utero living on the third floor, breaking the single-occupancy rule, and sneaking past the selection committee. Now that he’s five it’s time to check in and see what he has been up to artistically. Joe will be showing his drawings of heads. Sometimes referred to bugpeople.

Apparantly, I am DEAD!!!

Dear Readers,

Apparently in Flannery’s part of the movie, the Space movie, I am dead! This is an outrage!!!!!!!

The Office

Dear Readers,

This post is dedicated to my absolute favorite Television show, ‘The Office’ (THE AMERICAN KIND NOT THE BRITISH, LAMER, VERSION!!!!!!!).

The Office recently finished it’s fourth season (which was awesome).

These are the main characters of the Office:

Michael Gary Scott (Just Michael)- The head honcho, if you will, of the office branch. He tries to be funny but honestly is an idiot. Very politically incorrect.

Dwight Kurt Shrute III (Just Dwight)- Assistant to the Regional Manager, then Asistant Regional Manager, and finally just salesman. Hilariously stupid in normal things, and smart in odd things. Constantly being pranged by Jim. At first hates Jim, Then Andy and Jim, then just Andy, then Jim again. Total suck-up to Michael.

James Halpert (Just call him Jim) - Smart, kind, helpful, friendly, funny, impresses everyone he meets. Joker, but can be serious and professional if he wants to be. Disliked by Ryan and Dwight. Constantly pranks Dwight. Is now the Assistant Regional Manager. In love with Pam.

Pamela Beesly (Pam, if you will, but not Pammy)-Smart, sensitive, kind, friendly, artistic, taken advantage often. In love with Jim. Receptionist.

Ryan Bailey Howard- EVIL and in jail. Moo ha ha.

Janet Levinson (Just Jan)- was Michaels boss, then his girlfriend and boss, then his boss again, then his girlfriend and boss, then just his girlfriend, then his ex-girlfriend, now his girlfriend again. Smart, professional.

Holly- Human Resourses Representative.

Phyllis Vance- Saleswoman.

Stanley Hudson- Salesman.

Andrew Bernard- Salesman and regional director in charge of sales.

Jay and the sixth Art Starz session

Dear Readers,

As you probably guessed from the title from this post, it is the sixth session of Art Starz.

We have a new teacher, Jay. That’s right, that unfortunately means that we do not have Andrew, but we have Jay and he’s really nice. I like him a lot.

This session we are almost decided on making another movie. The thing is that this movie will not be one theme like the other Art Starz movies that came before it. This one is different. This one will be called ‘Watchng TV’. It is on the theme of a couple guys sitting around, and watching TV. The beauty of it all is that each of us, gets to direct a miniature ‘TV Show’. I already know what mine will be. You may ask will you tell us what it will be. This is my response: NEVER!

All you need to know about it is this: It is a parody. There is traveling involved. It is similar to a show that is awesome. You probably can figure it out.

Talk to you soon.

Trivia: When you look through a telescope what are you doing?

Pun: How do you describe a odorous play on words?

Pungent!

Aaron

Post Script: Answer: Looking back in time!

Noah’s puns of biblical proportions

Aaron's Antics, Blog, Fun times, People, Punnery, Puns, cool stuff — Aaron on April 19, 2008 at 5:55 pm

Dear Readers,

Noah wrote back! Here is his new move:

“Excellent. I believe it is your move, but here are several from me.
1. Who was the greatest financeer in the bible? Noah, because he floated his stocks while everyone else was in liquidation.
2.who was the greatest female financeer in the bible? pharaoh’s daughter, because she went down to the banks of the Nile and drew out a little prophet.”

Good job, Noah. Here is mine:

1. What dice game is good for boats? Yaght-see.

2 Who is the worst person who hates pocky? Aaron.

Fort Rochambeau USA!

People, Rochambeau's spot — Joe on March 9, 2008 at 3:53 pm

Did you know that during the Revolutionary War General Rochambeau had his camp here near the library? That’s why they call the street further down the hill that runs between Hope and North Main Streets Camp Street! This is a big deal because without the French help the American army might not have beaten the British. So it’s only appropriate to have a fort here in the library armed by Art Starz soldiers!

Best of luck,

Joseph’s Dad
