You might have heard about the Cartograph Caper, eh. Well I’ve got something better, see. I got a Map Mystery. But this ain’t your ordinary map, see. This is the San Katrina map, see. Yeah that’s right. Worth a lot of cabbage.

So here are your clues, gumshoe. The map is kept in the Detroit Library, see. The coppers down there, they don’t know what their doing, see. On the 27th of October, see, they had a shindig, see, the 20th anniversary of the map being there, see. Pretty swell shindig.

Then in the the middle of the party, a guy in a ski mask runs in with a gun, and takes the map.

The coppers there rounded up 3 guys see. Each of em’ has an alabi, see.

The first guy is a little short on the cabbage, see. He came in at the same time they said the robbery took place, see. He said he went in to “read” at the “library”.Sounds like boloney to me. The townsfolk don’t think he did it. Kinda town hero, if you catch my drift.

The second guy is a dummy see. When the cop’s asked him for his alabi, he said he was out skiing all day.

The third guy is a rich guy, see. Even has a automobile, see. Also he has a big antique collection, see. I’ve got one idea about the likes of he. Let’s hang it up a flagpole, and see if anyone salutes it, see. He’s always been greedy, see. Catch my drift?
