Rochambeau's spot — Joe on April 12, 2008 at 11:41 pm

 Joe:Yes! It’s Rochambeau’s very odd spot!

Roch is on his way right now, he is fighting red coats  at his fort. So please wait a moment.

WAITING…………..

Ah, here he is right now. Now Roch, tell me about your self.

Roch: Well, I have my very own name on a website called FORT ROCHAMBEAU. Any ways I was born…

………….. Now I am very deeply grateful that my name is on a website. I guess that I’m just a hero!

Joe: Thank you Rochambeau!

Fort Rochambeau USA!

People, Rochambeau's spot — Joe on March 9, 2008 at 3:53 pm

Did you know that during the Revolutionary War General Rochambeau had his camp here near the library? That’s why they call the street further down the hill that runs between Hope and North Main Streets Camp Street! This is a big deal because without the French help the American army might not have beaten the British. So it’s only appropriate to have a fort here in the library armed by Art Starz soldiers!

Best of luck,

Joseph’s Dad
