The Office
This is the story about the best show on Earth.
The Office is a mockumentary or a pseudo-documentary, making it a fake documentary. This is the main story of the office: A documentary crew arrives at a Scranton Paper company. The workers at the paper supply firm, Dunder Mifflin, go about their daily routine with humor as regional manager Michael Scott goes about his off-color stupid and sometimes racist antics. They are told about the possiblity of downsizing, and work to prevent it. Meanwhile many romances and friendships stir, as well as rivalries. Finally the downsizing is avoided, but more problems occur.

Dear Readers,
This post is dedicated to my absolute favorite Television show, ‘The Office’ (THE AMERICAN KIND NOT THE BRITISH, LAMER, VERSION!!!!!!!).
The Office recently finished it’s fourth season (which was awesome).
These are the main characters of the Office:
Michael Gary Scott (Just Michael)- The head honcho, if you will, of the office branch. He tries to be funny but honestly is an idiot. Very politically incorrect.
Dwight Kurt Shrute III (Just Dwight)- Assistant to the Regional Manager, then Asistant Regional Manager, and finally just salesman. Hilariously stupid in normal things, and smart in odd things. Constantly being pranged by Jim. At first hates Jim, Then Andy and Jim, then just Andy, then Jim again. Total suck-up to Michael.
James Halpert (Just call him Jim) - Smart, kind, helpful, friendly, funny, impresses everyone he meets. Joker, but can be serious and professional if he wants to be. Disliked by Ryan and Dwight. Constantly pranks Dwight. Is now the Assistant Regional Manager. In love with Pam.
Pamela Beesly (Pam, if you will, but not Pammy)-Smart, sensitive, kind, friendly, artistic, taken advantage often. In love with Jim. Receptionist.
Ryan Bailey Howard- EVIL and in jail. Moo ha ha.
Janet Levinson (Just Jan)- was Michaels boss, then his girlfriend and boss, then his boss again, then his girlfriend and boss, then just his girlfriend, then his ex-girlfriend, now his girlfriend again. Smart, professional.
Holly- Human Resourses Representative.
Phyllis Vance- Saleswoman.
Stanley Hudson- Salesman.
Andrew Bernard- Salesman and regional director in charge of sales.

Watching TV
Aaron’s Antics, Art Starz, Art Starz Session 6, Art Starz movies, Fort Rochambeau, Movies, News, art — Aaron on May 1, 2008 at 11:42 am Edit This
Dear Readers,
We in Art Starz are making a new movie called ‘Watching TV’. It will be really fun.
Here are some secrets about it (SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!). It is called watching TV for a reason; the premise is that two or three people are watching TV. What they are watching is actually skits created by ourselves. Each Art Starzian will have his or her own skit. For instance Joe’s will be the battle of Pocky Man V.S. Anti pocky monster. (No kidding). Flannery’s is a wonderful space adventure. Mine will be something to do with the following: The (American) Office, The Classroom, A feild trip, and a stupid teacher. You will force nothing more out of me!
We worked on flannery’s movie yesterday. We took 4 tables and made a ’space ship’. All poof the buttons and ‘equiptment’ were made out of green tape. On this space ship were such sophisticated machinery as a time machine, a tesseract portal, and a vending machine! The good thing was it was all run by Windows XP.
Cordially,
Aaron

Joseph’s (April vacation.) antics!
Art Starz, Blog, News, vacation news — Joe on April 16, 2008 at 10:32 am Edit This
April 16th 2008,
I am on vacation right now, there will be no art starz this week unfortunately. So it’s just me in a one room and nothing to do except going on the computer at my dad’s new “office” at URI. Any ways, there will be a next Art Starz session at the Rochambeau library with a new art starz teacher… Jay. To bad Andrew won’t be there, he was cool… ( *sob.) Any how, last night I went out to dinner to Tina’s restaurant. It was a Jamaican restaurant on Federal Hill. My food was so good!!! Went to my dad’s work yesterday, and here I am in his office doing some more posting, and looking at our Japanese version of our blog. Or web-log if you like to call that. Yet on this vacation from Monday, I was at the library doing more of this posting stuff. Now I want to talk about school life in the Sixth grade, it is hell for me. I have to deal with this idiot fat races hippopotamus kid at my school named Bryan Cruz… Well I don’t wanna tell my WHOLE life on this post. Any ways, I’m just glade I’m going back to Art Starz next week! -Joe

Readers, I have a new name that I am being publically displayed as. Aaron Theoffice-Lover. This is my official name, temporarily. But seeing that I have nothing to tell you, I will tell you all of my aliases so far. There’s:
Aaron (Duh!) This is for my most rational comments. Michael Jackson. I only used him twice, at the very beginning. Silence Dogood. For all you history buff’s out there this is a joke. Benjamin Franklin at age 15 wrote to his brother’s newspaper 14 letters, all signed by Silence Dogood. (Fun Fact: Eventually his brother, James Franklin, found out and exposed Ben with a letter from “Hugo Grim”). Tom (at “tom@aol.com). He is not real. Get over it. A. Pearson. Firstly, who signs a comment like the author would for a book? Also, it sounds like “a person”. Ha-ha. Scott Schrute. An office joke! Last names of two main characters (Michael Scott, and Dwight Schrute.) Amanda Hugginkiss. I demand a hug and kiss (Classic Bart Simpson). Frankie is real. He is my cousin. Both Michael and Michael Gary Scott are the same person. Main character of the office (again). Toby Flenderson, a depressed HR rep from the Office (again!) who Michael Gary Scott (Yes, again!!!) hates.
Wow. Knock those out, and all the ones from Joe, Flannery, Winnie, Andrew, and Sam (and others from Art Stars) and you get a whopping 4 real comments.
Once again Wow.
Now for my features.
Pun: What did the feline animal do on the golf course? CATty.
Trivia: What does “trampoline” mean in Spanish?
Aaron
Answer: Diving board.

Readers,
I take a break from my usual documentation of Art Stars, to make instead a blog entry on blogs :). This is some facts on blogs.
Firstly, the word “blog” actually comes from the words “web-log” (Not my first post, This is Our Web-log). Secondly, blogs can be used for many different purposes.
Um…, Er…, there isn’t as much to tell you as I thought.
Here are the links to some great fake blogs. They were both made for the superb show, “The Office” (The real, AMERICAN version, not the stupid British Office)
1. http://blog.nbc.com/CreedThoughts/
2. http://blog.nbc.com/DwightsBlog/
Check em’ out. Now for my features. Trivia: In the 1870’s what was ketchup served as? Pun: What do you call a movie about feelings? An emotion picture.
Aaron
P.S. answer - Medicine.

The Office is Coming! The Office is Coming!
Comedy Night done right, Fun times, Hopes, I love the Office and so should you, Jenna Ficher, Movies, News, Rainn Wilson, Steve Carrell, The Office, The Office Rocks, The Office Season 5, The Office related stuff, The Ofice is Totally the Best Show on Earth contrary to, links, with a guy named Dwight — Aaron on August 25, 2008 at 3:23 pm Edit This
The Office and Art Starz. The two don’t seem to have that much in common. However they do.
Here are the things that they share.
1. As Joe has formerly formally stated; his aunt is friends with Rainn Wilson (The actor who plays Dwight Shrute).
2. We are located on scenic Hope Street (one of the best streets in the world, I must add). Guess what? Steve Carrell (plays main character, Michael Scott) filmed for “Dan in Real Life” just down the street at 7 Stars Bakery.
3. John Krasinski (Actor who plays Jim Halpert) attended college at Brown, which is in Providence, Rhode Island.
4.There is a scene from the season premiere of Season 3, where Michael says he’s met a person from every group imaginable. Except for people from the South. And he never knew anyone from Rhode Island…
5. In the movie we made with Jay, Watching TV, My skit was the Classroom. A parody of the Office.
6. I had suggested that idea all the way back in Art Starz Session 3.
7. Before we made it in Session 6, I had already made at least 4 episodes on my own, with other people.
8. There are 8 posts already related to the Office on Fort Rochambeau.
9. I (obviously) am a humongous Office Fan.
I hope this has enlightened you on the similarities between the greatest show on earth and the greatest after school program on Earth.
Now, an order: Watch the Office Season 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For all you people who missed the last episode, Goodbye Toby, here is a brief summary: Toby (The HR rep) has decided to retire and move to Costa Rica. On his last day, Michael Scott makes sure he has the best and most elaborate goodbye party ever, but doesn’t forget to be mean to Toby, who he thinks is the downfall of the company. His replacement, Holly, arrives. Initially, Michael hates her too. Then, he begins to fall madly in love with her. In one day. Yikes. Meanwhile, Jim has paid for fireworks, not so much for Toby, but to make the night special, so he can romantically propose to his girlfriend, Pam. Unfortunately the moment is stolen by Andrew Bernard, who proposes to Angela before Jim can propose to Pam. Just as Michael is beginning to flirt with Holly, he is interrupted and goes to find hi9s ex-girlfriend, Jan. She has a big suprise for him. Meanwhile Ryan is arrested. YAY!
And for you all who really have paid no attention to the Office whatsoever, here is a basic summary of the show:
A camera crew arrives in a Scranton paper company, Dunder Mifflin. Regional Manager, Michael Scott, tries to entertain his workers with inappropriate and unfunny jokes. Meanwhile, corporate Branch Manager Jan Levinson-Gould informs Michael that the office has the possibility of being shut down. Jim Halpert is a friendly, charismatic, cool, funny, and nice salesman, who has a crush on the equally nice receptionist, Pam. Unfortunately Pam is engaged with warehouse worker Roy. When he’s not selling paper or having fun with Pam, he is pranking akward, gullible, idiotic and overall power-obsessed Dwight Shrute. Dwight is also madly in love with Angela, a tightly wound accountant who constantly nags, criticizes, and makes mean comments.
Eventually, Michael Scott and Jan Levinson (she had just been divoriced) make an important sale, and they kiss. This is the start of Jan’s self-destruction. As Jan spirals downward, Michael only becomes more happy. That is, until he releases all of these HR (Human Resources) complaints and causes Jim to think about transferring to Stamford Connecticut.
Michael breaks up with Jan and starts dating Carol Stills (his realtor). Jim considers transferring, but because of his feelings for Pam, tells her that he loves her. She refuses to love him back, on the grounds that Roy and her are getting married, but the audience can tell she still has feelings for Jim.
Jim transfers and sparks a new love intrest with fellow saleswoman, Karen Fillipeli, at Stamford. Meanwhile, Pam has called off the wedding.
It appears that Scranton is closing. They would have if the Branch Manager of Stamford, Josh Porter, hadn’t quit. In this way, Scranton absorbed the Stamford Branch. Six workers transfer to Scranton, Andrew Bernard, Karen Fillipelli, Martin Nash, Hannah Smoteridge-Barrs, Anthony Gardner, and of course Jim Halpert. Within the first two months, Martin, Hannah, and Anthony are all either fired or quit. Jim and Pam’s friendship is incomplete, because Jim is dating Karen, and the akwardness between the two hasn’t ceased.
Meanwhile, Andy Bernard is in a power struggle with fellow salesman Dwight Shrute. Andy stresses a situation involving Angela som much that Dwight quits, only to return in the next episode. Andy is placed in Anger Management.
Michael starts dating Jan.
Michael is asked to interview for a Job at Corporate. He takes everyone to the beach, and has competiotions to see who will replace him. The word gets out, and soon Jim and Karen also ask for the job. At the beach, Pam has a burst of courage, and decides to tell Jim how she really feels about Jim. She says that she misses their friendship.
At the interview, Micahel doesn’t realize that the job he is interviewing for is actually Jan’s job, and she will be fired soon. Niether Michael, or Jim, or Karen gets the job. In a suprise turnout it was Ryan a former Scranton temp, who never made a sale, and almost burnt the building down with a cheesy pita.
Jim returns to Scranton, and starts dating Pam. Karen transferrs to Utica.
Their love is kept hidden, but certain coworkers have their suspicions.
Dwight mercy-kills Angela’s cat, and their relationship seemingly comes to an end.
Jim and Pam’s love is eventually revealed.
Ryan is still branch manager. He creates a web-site in which people can buy paper online. Numerous people (especially those in sales, seeing that it is taking away their clients) especially Jim and Dwight criticize this website.
Dwight is really in pain because of his break-up with Angela. It is all the more painful when she starts dating Andy Bernard.
Jim and Dwight become somewhat friends, although that doesn’t stop Jim from pranking Dwight and Andy.
Michael and Jan are still dating, up until a sizeable argument at a dinner party. After his break up, Michael searches to date other people.
Ryan’s website has flaws, and eventualy we get to Goodbye Toby, which you can read more about above.
The new episiode is called Weight Loss, it premiers on Thursday, September 25 at 9:00 P.M. on NBC (Channel 10). Watch it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Also look for Season 4 on DVD coming on September 15.
