Foo-Fest!

So the first test run of the Bus was at AS220’s Foo Fest. Students From New Urban Arts Summer Zine Team dreamt up the Zine Factory- A one day submission to publishion machine! From 1 until 5:30 we were asking folks to make a page in response to the question- Where have you been? Where are you going? Throughout that time students were screenprinting two color covers for the book. We recieved 64 submissions and at 5:30 we revved up the copier that AS220’s Community Printshop had kindly lent us for the day. Sometime around 8ish we had succesfully completed and distributed 27 finished zines to folks who made submissions. We were all spent and wide eyed with the sense of accomplishment.

The rest of the edition is complete and will be available at New Urban Arts. A couple of copies will travel, so let me know if you are interested!
